Vaco is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee the complete AP cycle and lead the AP team in Raleigh, NC. You will manage invoice processing, coding, approvals, three-way matching, and vendor payments while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires a solid track record in accounts payable, ERP systems proficiency, and strong analytical and leadership abilities to drive process improvements and maintain strict internal controls.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive accounts payable experience; management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of full AP cycle: invoice processing, coding, three-way matching, payments, reconciliations, month-end activities.
• Demonstrated knowledge of AP controls, compliance requirements, and accounting procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full accounts payable cycle including invoice processing, coding, approvals, three-way matching, and vendor payments.
• Lead and manage AP team with day-to-day oversight, training, workload management, and support.
• Ensure accurate coding to GL accounts, departments, and cost centers; resolve discrepancies and payment issues.
