Hendrickson in Ohio seeks an Accounts Payable Manager to oversee daily AP operations, ensure timely payments, and support auditors during monthly and year-end closes. The role leads AP staff, develops cross-training, and coordinates with operations and procurement for process improvements.

The ideal candidate has seven+ years in accounting with 3–5 years in a leadership role and strong knowledge of ERP AP systems such as KBM or QAD, along with solid Windows office skills.

Qualifications

• Seven years experience in accounting required, preferably in Accounts Payable.
• At least three to five years in management or leadership role.
• Experience in KBM, QAD, or similar ERP AP systems.
• Knowledge of Windows environment, particularly spreadsheets and word processing.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day AP operations, including hiring decisions and staff development.
• Coordinate monthly close and interaction with auditors during year-end close.
• Oversee timely payment of invoices and maintain AP aging reports.
• Lead system issue resolution and drive process improvements in AP.
• Maintain AP policies and desktop procedures; ensure adherence.
• Journalize and report all I/C purchase material transactions.
• Follow record retention requirements and manage onsite/offsite storage.
• Other duties as assigned or requested.
