Base pay range

$125,000.00/yr - $135,000.00/yr

A leader in the Retail and Consumer goods space is seeking a strategic and hands-on AP Manager to lead a high-performing team during a major systems transformation. This individual will play a key leadership role in modernizing legacy accounts payable processes, driving automation, and enhancing cross-functional collaboration across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a 30-person AP function, including 4 direct reports, across multiple operational environments
• Manage all aspects of AP operations including invoice processing, payments, vendor management, and compliance
• Drive implementation of SAP HANA and support automation initiatives across Oracle and SAP systems
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational efficiency
• Partner with finance, procurement, and IT teams on process design, system transitions, and change management
• Standardize workflows and enhance cross-training to scale team capabilities
• Lead training, performance management, and staff development efforts
• Ensure timely reporting, audit readiness, and SOX compliance
• Participate in finance leadership meetings and special projects as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (required)
• 5+ years of experience managing full-cycle accounts payable in a complex or multi-entity environment
• Strong background with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle EBS, JD Edwards, etc.) and AP automation tools
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with proven experience managing mid- to large-sized teams
• Prior experience in retail, wholesale, or cooperative environments is a plus
• Strong analytical mindset and hands-on approach to solving operational challenges

Compensation: $125,000-$135,000

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
