Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree (related field) or equivalent education and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years accounts payable experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient Excel skills; SAP knowledge a plus.
• Strong problem solving, analytical, prioritization and multi-tasking abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, review and execute daily/weekly payments to vendors; maintain logs and respond to inquiries.
• Assist Treasury, General Accounting, Payroll, Customer Service, Tax and AP management to resolve payment issues; perform stop payments, voids and reissuance as needed.
• Manage vendor invoice processing, blocks, queries and reversals as required.
• Process and analyze purchase orders, invoices, check requests and reconciliations.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and address needs regarding invoicing and discrepancies.
• Monitor inbox and assist vendors with payment method registrations.
• Support period close activities including posting adjustments and authorizations; assist with audits as needed.
• Train new AP clerks and serve as primary escalation point for AP tasks.
