Job summary

Ulta Beauty in Bolingbrook, IL seeks an Accounts Payable Coordinator to manage payments, vendor interactions, and month-end close activities. You will mentor AP clerks, coordinate with internal teams and ensure compliance with policy and standards.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent education and related work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years accounts payable experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient Excel skills; SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Strong problem solving, analytical, prioritization and multi-tasking abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication; team player and collaborative.
• Willingness for occasional in-office time, overtime, and minimal travel.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, review and execute daily/weekly vendor payments; maintain logs.
• Assist Treasury, General Accounting and AP teams to resolve payment issues.
• Manage vendor invoice processing, blocks, reversals and postings.
• Process POs, invoices, check requests and vendor account reconciliations accurately.
• Maintain vendor relationships for payments and discrepancy handling.
• Support period close activities and various related tasks.
• Train new AP clerks and act as escalation point for day-to-day tasks.
• Participate in audits and implement process improvements.
• Collaborate in UAT and special projects as assigned.
