Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field OR Two years of progressively responsible work experience in accounts payable.
• Typing ability of 30 wpm is preferred.
• Must submit to and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Process and/or approve payment documents and resolve discrepancies prior to payment.
• Coordinate daily activities, monitor workflow, ensure invoices are paid by due date, distribute checks, provide payment information on request.
• Supervise and provide work direction to the Accounts Payable Specialist.
• Provide customer service to internal and external customers by answering questions and providing training to ensure payments are accurate and completed properly.
