Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an Accounts Payable General Accountant to manage the accurate processing of vendor invoices and AP transactions across a multi-site manufacturing environment. You will ensure proper approvals, coding, and timely payments while maintaining vendor records and supporting reconciliations.

The role requires strong GAAP knowledge, attention to detail, and proficiency with ERP systems and payables software.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Accounts Payable invoice processing experience required.
• Experience with general ledger accounting preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems and core pay software, banking portal preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, code, and process vendor invoices accurately and within established deadlines.
• Verify invoices against POs, receiving docs, contracts, and supporting docs.
• Perform 2-way/3-way matching where applicable.
• Prepare and process vendor payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate variances.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
