Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking an Accounts Payable Lead for an on-site role in Mesa, AZ. You will lead AP operations, mentor the AP team, and ensure accuracy and compliance in vendor invoicing and payments.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in finance focusing on full-cycle AP, strong Excel skills, and a proven leadership background. This role supports Sun Auto's rapid growth across 550+ stores and protection of process integrity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of finance experience with focus on full cycle accounts payable.
• Proven ability to lead a team and mentor others.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to GAAP.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the accounts payable process including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and vendor negotiations.
• Mentor accounts payable team and foster a collaborative environment.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Improve AP procedures to boost efficiency and accuracy.
• Resolve discrepancies in billing and communicate with customers and stores.
• Oversee statement reconciliations and month-end closings for AP.
• Provide training for new hires and contractors.
• Support vendors and Sun Auto employees as needed.
• Monitor and respond to AP emails within defined timeframes.
