Job summary

The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking an Accounts Payable Lead to join our Finance & Accounting team in Virginia Beach. You will coordinate day-to-day accounts payable activities, review vendor invoices, and ensure timely payments while upholding internal controls and accurate financial records.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of accounts payable experience, strong knowledge of AP processes, and proficiency in Excel and an Epicor ERP system.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of accounts payable or related accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of AP processes, control practices, and payments cycle.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and MS Excel for data management.
• Ability to research discrepancies and resolve issues accurately.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial records.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day accounts payable activities and process invoices for payment.
• Review vendor invoices for accuracy and timeliness; ensure proper documentation.
• Maintain integrity of financial records and assist with month-end close.
• Resolve discrepancies and respond to system-related inquiries from staff.
