Job summary

CFStaffing in Independence, OH is seeking an Accounts Payable Lead to manage high-volume AP across multiple entities. You will oversee invoice processing, vendor payments, reconciliations, and process improvements to ensure accuracy and compliance.

You will report to the Controller and collaborate with the accounting team to drive efficiencies in a stable, growth-oriented organization.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume environment.
• Experience supporting multiple legal entities, divisions, or business units.
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables and data analysis functions.

Responsibilities

• Process high volumes of vendor invoices across multiple companies and business units.
• Review invoice approvals, coding, and supporting documentation.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor payment issues.
• Prepare and process weekly payment runs, including checks and ACH transactions.
• Manage intercompany transactions and respond to vendor/internal inquiries.

Position Overview

The Accounts Payable Lead is responsible for managing high-volume accounts payable activities across 10-15 legal entities. Reporting directly to the Controller, this individual will oversee invoice processing, vendor payments, reconciliations, and process improvements while ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting best practices.
