Job summary

Confidential Company is seeking an Accounts Payable Lead to drive the AP and T&E function. The role reports to the Controller and combines hands-on optimization with strategic process improvements across procure-to-pay.

Responsibilities include managing AP, corporate cards, employee reimbursements, vendor onboarding, 1099 compliance, and collaboration with treasury for cash forecasting. A proactive, detail-oriented leader who can scale our controls and automate processes is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant accounts payable experience.
• Strong vendor management instincts, including 1099 compliance and vendor risk practices.
• Demonstrated success accelerating P2P cycle times without sacrificing accuracy or control.
• Must be organized and detail-orientated with excellent follow-up skills.
• Must have effective written and oral communication skills.
• Must be a self-starter, hands-on, “roll up the sleeves” professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task, work independently, prioritize tasks, honor rules of engagement and follow policies, processes, and procedures.
• The ability to learn quickly and continuously and maintain a flexible and adaptive mindset necessary for a fast-paced environment.

• Partner with treasury workflows on payment runs and cash forecasting.
• Drive automation across invoice capture, coding and matching.
