Astound is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator I to manage high-volume AP tasks, coordinate invoices, and support the AP Manager with research and projects. The candidate should know GAAP, be organized, and proficient in Excel and financial systems.

Duties include PO and non-PO invoice processing, 3-way matching, and resolving discrepancies. The role requires 2-3 years AP experience, familiarity with Great Plains and ReqLogic, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years high volume accounts payable experience.
• Experience with Great Plains Financial Software and ReqLogic preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming PO and non-PO invoices.
• Route invoices for coding and approvals to markets via workflow.
• Process PO invoices ensuring a 3-way match.
• Resolve PO/invoice pricing and quantity discrepancies.
• Ensure vendor remittances are current.
• Process leasing, refunds, and programming uploads.
• Handle manual invoice requests within service levels.
• Process payment batches and check registers.
• Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

The Accounts Payable Coordinator I is responsible for maintaining relationships with internal and external customers and processing accounts payable within the established minimum service levels and assisting the AP Manager with research and projects as needed. The successful candidate will have knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, excellent organizational and communication skills, and working knowledge of Financial Systems and Excel.

• Process incoming purchase order and non-purchase order invoices.
• Route invoices for coding and approvals to various markets via workflow.
• Process purchase order invoices ensuring a 3-way match.
• Resolve purchase order/invoice pricing and quantity discrepancies with the Purchasing Manager/Markets.
• Ensure vendor remittances are current.
• Process leasing, refunds, and programming uploads.
• Process manual invoice requests within established service levels.
• Process payment batches and check registers.
• Resolve any customer inquiries in a timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring to the Table

• 2-3 years high volume accounts payable.
• Experience with Great Plains Financial Software and ReqLogic is preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Desktop Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team; flexibility in dealing with assignments and in working on several projects simultaneously.

Education

• High school diploma and Associates Degree in Accounting or Business Administration or relevant experience.

Base Compensation: The base compensation range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr, plus opportunities for benefits. The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills.
