Astound is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator I in Massachusetts to manage high-volume AP tasks, route invoices, ensure 3-way matching, and maintain vendor relationships. This role supports the AP Manager and requires solid knowledge of GAAP, Excel, and financial systems.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of AP experience, strong communication, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Benefits include 401k, health coverage, PTO, and tuition reimbursement.

Responsabilités

• Process incoming PO and non-PO invoices.
• Route invoices for coding and approvals via workflow.
• Ensure 3-way match for PO invoices.
• Resolve PO/invoice pricing and quantity discrepancies.
• Maintain current vendor remittances.
• Process leasing, refunds and programming uploads.
• Handle manual invoice requests and payment batches.
• Respond to customer inquiries promptly.

The Accounts Payable Coordinator I is responsible for maintaining relationships with internal and external customers and processing accounts payable within the established minimum service levels and assisting the AP Manager with research and projects as needed. The successful candidate will have knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, excellent organizational and communication skills, and working knowledge of Financial Systems and Excel.

• Process incoming purchase order and non-purchase order invoices.
• Route invoices for coding and approvals to various markets via workflow.
• Process purchase order invoices ensuring a 3-way match.
• Resolve purchase order/invoice pricing and quantity discrepancies with the Purchasing Manager/Markets.
• Ensure vendor remittances are current.
• Process leasing, refunds, and programming uploads.
• Process manual invoice requests within established service levels.
• Process payment batches and check registers.
• Resolve any customer inquiries in a timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring to the Table

• 2-3 years high volume accounts payable.
• Experience with Great Plains Financial Software and ReqLogic is preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Desktop Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team; flexibility in dealing with assignments and in working on several projects simultaneously.

Education

• High school diploma and Associates Degree in Accounting or Business Administration or relevant experience.

Base Compensation: The base compensation range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr, plus opportunities for benefits. The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills.
