Job summary

Resorts World NYC is seeking an accounting clerk to support vendor payments, reporting and licensing records. You will maintain knowledge of services and hours of operation, process invoices, record data in Excel, and assist with year-end reporting.

To qualify, 1–3 years accounting experience, proficiency with Excel and Word, and a high school diploma or GED are required; a college degree in accounting is preferred, and eligibility to obtain the NYS Gaming Commission license may be required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, review and process vendor invoices against Purchase Orders and Receiving in the GL system.
• Record data into Excel for daily, weekly and/or month end reporting.
• Download racing information to calculate payments to Horsemen.
• Maintain records for Corporate Licensing to Racing and Wagering Board and year end reporting.
• Maintain complete knowledge and comply with all departmental policies and procedures.
• Process payments to vendors accurately and timely.
• Perform other duties assigned.
