Job summary

Austin Industries, a leading U.S.-based construction firm, is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk at our Dallas, Texas corporate headquarters. You will process third-party invoices and issue payments in line with contracts and policy.

The role emphasizes accurate invoice processing, vendor statement reconciliation, and timely communication with internal teams. You will support the AP team and other departments on ad hoc projects while maintaining high attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate’s degree and/or 2+ years of college preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or related field.
• Experience with invoice processing and posting.
• Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Distribute invoices to sites or departments as appropriate.
• Code and enter approved invoices into the accounting system.
• Verify vendor information and post verified AP batches.
• Reconcile vendor statements regularly and resolve discrepancies.
• Process payments per contract terms and company policy; handle electronic, wires, and checks.
