Job summary

Ace Roofing LLC is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to manage vendor invoices, ensure timely payments, and maintain accurate records. The role emphasizes attention to detail, organization, and strong internal/external customer service within a fast-paced environment.

You will verify invoices, process payments, reconcile statements, and support the accounting team with administrative tasks, while upholding internal controls and compliant documentation practices.

We're looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy, organization, and providing excellent internal and external customer service.

The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounts payable process, ensuring vendor invoices are processed accurately and on time, maintaining vendor records, and supporting the accounting team with financial reporting and administrative tasks. This position plays a key role in maintaining strong vendor relationships and ensuring the integrity of the company's financial records.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous accounts payable or accounting experience preferred
• Experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite or similar accounting software
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Experience in the construction industry
• Familiarity with JobNimbus or other construction management software
