This position performs a variety of technical clerical and accounting duties under the general supervision of the City Treasurer, including overseeing accounts payable; management of existing, new and closing utility accounts; and customer service in the front office. Some duties will be shared with other staff members, at the discretion of the City Administrator. This is a part-time, 30-hour per week, position.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to stand, sit, reach with hand and arms, and lift up to 25 pounds. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 25 pounds. Duties require sufficient mobility to work in a typical office setting and use standard office equipment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moderately quiet in-office settings, and occasionally to outside weather conditions.
