Job Description
Shift: Monday-Friday, 11am - 8pm

  • The role is primarily remote but requires a monthly commute to Wheeling, WV.

Responsibilities include ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payables in line with company policies.

Job Duties

  • Audit reimbursement and manual check requests for proper documentation and approvals.
  • Verify and set up new vendors in finance systems.
  • Correct coding errors and update general ledger accounts.
  • Verify invoice details against backup documentation and process payments accordingly.
  • Enter vouchers and reconcile batches.
  • Respond to vendor and internal inquiries, researching payment issues as needed.
  • Process expense reimbursements and payment requests.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential documents with discretion.
  • Communicate effectively with managers regarding job or deadline issues.

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree or higher preferred.
  • 1-2 years of relevant financial experience, preferably in a professional services setting like law firms.
  • Knowledge of financial systems such as Aderant Expert, Chrome River, Elite, CMS, or similar is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and spreadsheet applications.
  • Strong customer service skills to maintain client relationships.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information

Pay: $17.00/hour plus 10% shift differential.
