Accounts Payable Associate (Primarily Remote - Wheeling, WV)

Shift: Monday-Friday, 11am - 8pm

*Role is primarily remote, but requires a monthly commute to Wheeling, WV.

This role involves ensuring the efficient, accurate, and timely processing of accounts payables following established guidelines and procedures.

Job duties

  • Audit reimbursement and manual check requests for proper documentation and approvals.
  • Verify and add new vendors to finance systems.
  • Correct coding errors and general ledger account numbers.
  • Verify invoice information against backup documentation and process payments accordingly.
  • Enter vouchers and balance batches.
  • Respond to inquiries from Williams Lea and vendors, researching payment issues as needed.
  • Process expense reimbursements and payment requests.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential documents and information.
  • Communicate with managers regarding job or deadline issues.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree or higher preferred.
  • 1-2 years of related financial experience in a professional service organization; law firm experience preferred.
  • Prior knowledge of financial systems such as Aderant Expert, Chrome River, Elite, CMS, or similar systems preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and spreadsheet applications.
  • Strong customer service skills to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $17.00/hour + 10% shift differential
