Hankook Tire Co. is seeking an Accounting Coordinator to manage AP duties, maintain the General Ledger, and analyze financial data. You will collaborate across departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure data integrity in SAP and E-Accounting systems.

The role supports fixed assets, depreciation, and inventory tracking, while preparing reports for management and assisting external auditors. Strong English, math, and analytical skills are essential in this hands-on, full-time position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or economics preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs accounts payable duties, reviewing payments and recording entries.
• Collaborates with departments to resolve discrepancies and answer inquiries.
• Ensures transactions are properly recorded in the General Ledger.
• Maintains accounting systems and data integrity (SAP, E-Accounting).
• Oversees fixed asset records, depreciation schedules, and inventory tracking.
• Prepares and analyzes accounting records and financial statements.
• Reconciles accounts, prepares adjusting entries, and analyzes variances.
• Monitors accounts receivable, payments and long-term items for controls.
• Provides reports to management for decision-making with findings.
• Conducts quarterly audits and supports external auditors and GHQ.
• Supports Corporate Management Team with special projects.
• Stays updated on accounting standards and best practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
