WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Performs a variety of regular, recurring, and moderately complex accounting functions related to grant accounting and accounts payable. Manages data submitted through electronic Purchase Order module ensuring complete and accurate data before posting to accounting system. Assists in interpreting vendor accounts and records. Serves as part of the Fiscal Department team and acts in a lead role for timely entry and payment of rental assistance requests. Performs delivery and pick-up of fiscal materials locally. Maintains confidentiality of sensitive accounting information.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. This is an in-office position and does not offer remote or hybrid work options.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides pick-up and delivery of mail and finance relateditems.
Prepares daily cash receipts for multiple bankdeposits.
Responsible for collecting information from the postage machine, copying machines, and agencyvehicle logs at month end to assist in preparing month end journalentries.
