Crown Automotive Group has an immediate opening for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk. The role is full-time and fast-paced in a dynamic office environment. We seek a self-motivated individual with strong time management skills capable of multitasking and problem solving.

Qualifications

• Typing and data entry skills required.
• Proficient in 10-key functions.
• Basic MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong mathematical skills for balancing and coding.
• Able to maintain professionalism under stress and fluctuating workload.
• Attention to detail and clear communication are essential.
• Automotive/dealership experience highly preferred.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Code and post invoices.
• Reconcile general ledger to vendor statements.
• Obtain missing invoices.
• Write and mail vendor checks; scan checks.
• Create new vendors and determine 1099 status.
• Post to and reconcile intercompany accounts.
• Respond to basic customer service requests.
• Attend department meetings as requested.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for Accounts Payable. This includes:

• Coding and posting of invoices
• Reconciling general ledger to vendor statements
• Obtaining missing invoices
• Writing and mailing vendor checks, scanning vendor checks
• Creating new vendors in accounting system and determining 1099 status
• Posting to and reconciling Intercompany accounts
• Responding to basic customer service requests
• Attending department meetings as requested

Qualifications:

• Typing, calculator, general computer skills a must
• Basic knowledge of 10-key functions
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Strong mathematical skills
• Ability to maintain professionalism under stress and fluctuating workload
• Attention to detail, teamwork, and effective communication imperative
• Automotive/Dealership experience highly preferred
• Must be able to meet company’s requirements for employment including background check and drug screening
