Job summary

American AC Heat & Plumbing is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to manage day-to-day financial operations for a growing residential HVAC service company in the Los Angeles area. This role covers accounts receivable and payable, invoicing, and data entry, with emphasis on accuracy and timely communication with clients and vendors.

You will work with QuickBooks Online, Excel, and Word, ensuring GAAP compliance and strong general ledger performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• General Ledger competency.
• Possess strong analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Receivable, including receiving, processing, verifying invoices, and client communication.
• Account research to resolve billing discrepancies.

We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, self-starter who can multi-task effectively for a growing company. You will manage the day-to-day financial operations of a service company. Applicants should be honest, flexible, dependable, efficient, team-oriented, and have strong problem-solving skills.

Job Description is as follows, but not limited to:

• Accounts Receivable, including receiving, processing, verifying invoices, and client communication

• ServiceTitan and/or experience working in the home service industry is a plus

COMPENSATION: Salary ranges from $25 to $35 per hour commensurate with experience, plus benefits and a long-term career path.
