Job summary

Lyra Health is seeking a Sr. Accounting Transformation Lead to partner with the SVP, Global Controller to mature and scale the accounting operating model. You will drive transformation across design, processes, technology, and governance to support growth and IPO readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; CPA strongly preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in accounting, controllership, finance transformation, with significant leadership experience in complex, high-growth organizations.
• Experience leading large-scale Finance or Accounting transformation initiatives involving multiple functions, geographies, systems, and stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of finance technology ecosystems, including ERP, consolidation, financial reporting, close management, reconciliation, workflow, automation, and data/analytics solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assess current-state capabilities across people, processes, technology, data, governance, and controls and identify opportunities to strengthen the accounting operating model.
• Translate strategic priorities into project plans with measurable objectives, milestones, dependencies, resource requirements, and expected business outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, harmonize, automate, and strengthen core accounting processes, including record-to-report, close, reconciliations, consolidation and reporting.
• Manage the development of clearly defined roles, responsibilities, policies, procedures, and performance expectations.
• Partner with accounting leaders to reduce manual processes, improve close efficiency, and strengthen the quality and timeliness of financial information.
• Project manage the critical accounting readiness activities associated with SEC-compliant financial reporting, disclosure processes, close and reporting timelines.
