Job summary

Peloton Interactive is seeking a proactive Manager, Accounting to lead core accounting activities while driving finance transformation and automation initiatives. The role emphasizes strong internal controls, quality reporting, and collaboration with cross-functional and offshore teams.

You will oversee month-end close, improve processes, and support audits while leveraging AI to modernize workflows and reporting accuracy.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of accounting experience, private and public preferred.
• Active CPA license in good standing.
• Proven interest/experience in process optimization, workflow automation and AI in accounting.
• Experience with Netsuite and/or Oracle ERP systems.
• Big 4 or SEC-registered company experience.
• Highly organized self-starter capable of independent work and teamwork.
• Strong Excel skills and data-analysis ability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end close, reconcilia­tions, and staff guidance across cost centers.
• Lead initiatives for efficiency, scalability, control automation and reporting quality.
• Ensure GAAP-compliant policies and procedures are followed.
• Partner with offshore accounting team to align daily deliverables and quality.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual workflows through automation and AI tooling.
• Review and approve journal entries and GL reconciliations weekly and monthly.
• Assist in COA redesign and ERP-based improvements.
