Job summary

Larimer County Department of Human Services is seeking an Accounting Technician to join the Accounting Team. This 100% in-office role supports accounts payable, payroll, reimbursements, and related financial operations across multiple locations in Fort Collins and Loveland.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities are essential. Applicants must have at least one year of related experience and be prepared to submit three professional references.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a directly related field.
• Ability to enter data into accounting systems.
• Willingness to learn new processes and adapt to changing needs.

Responsibilities

• Enter accounting data according to established methods and procedures.
• Check computer reports for accuracy and completeness, and make routine adjustments as necessary.
• Process and prepare vouchers for payment.
• File receipts, vouchers, billings, and other materials according to established methods and procedures.
• Maintain payroll records and time sheets, compute necessary payroll calculations, and may prepare payroll summaries.
