This position is located on the 7th floor of the Frontier building in Anchorage, offering panoramic views of the Chugach Range, Mt. Denali, and the Cook Inlet. Experience ample covered parking, enhanced building security, vending machines for drinks/snacks, and a variety of nearby restaurants and stores. One year of entry technical level accounting or clerical bookkeeping experience.
Substitutions: Certification as an Accounting Technician from an accredited college will substitute for the required experience.
Post secondary education from an accredited college will substitute for the required experience (3 semester/4 quarter hours equal one month) if it includes at least 6 semester/8 quarter hours in Accounting.
Two years of technical level accounting or bookkeeping experience, of which at least one year was at the full‑proficiency level.
Substitutions: Certification as an Accounting Technician from an accredited college will substitute for one year of the required experience at the non‑full‑proficiency level.
Post secondary education from an accredited college will substitute for up to one year of the required experience at the non‑full‑proficiency level (3 semester/4 quarter hours equal one month) if it includes at least 6 semester/8 quarter hours in Accounting.
Post secondary education from an accredited college will substitute for the required two years of experience (3 semester/4 quarter hours equal one month) if it includes at least 9 semester/12 quarter hours at or above the 200 level in Accounting.
An associate's degree in Accounting or Business Administration from an accredited college will substitute for the required two years of experience if it includes at least 6 semester/8 quarter hours at or above the 200 level in Accounting.
