Our SEC Reporting department seeks a senior technical accountant or technical accounting manager. This role is responsible for quarterly and annual financial reporting, researching and implementing new accounting pronouncements, and managing special projects to comply with SEC rules and regulations.

This position is based at our Headquarters in Fairfield, OH. Many departments offer hybrid work options, allowing associates to work from home several days a week, depending on role and responsibilities.

The pay range for the associate accountant position is $110,000 - $150,000 annually. The pay is based on education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on performance.

Be ready to:
  • drive our company towards industry leadership in accounting by proactively identifying relevant rules, standards, and pronouncements for GAAP compliance
  • lead technical accounting research, documentation, and interpretation of new pronouncements and transactions
  • collaborate with finance leaders, industry groups, and peers to implement new accounting standards
  • monitor FASB, SEC, and other regulations at various levels
  • assist in developing and implementing internal controls for SOX 404 compliance
  • prepare SEC disclosures with accuracy and timeliness
  • contribute to quarterly and annual SEC filings like Form 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-Ks
  • review and update SEC reporting policies and procedures
  • review financial materials for rating agencies and investors
  • conduct goodwill and intangible asset analyses
  • use accounting research software efficiently
  • lead and participate in accounting projects for management support
  • assist with monthly closing activities
  • respond to audit inquiries promptly
  • perform ad hoc analyses as needed

You’ve earned:
  • a bachelor’s degree in accounting (required)
  • 5-10 years of accounting experience in a public company
  • active CPA certification
  • public accounting experience
  • experience establishing financial reporting controls
