Job summary

The University of Washington Bothell School of Business invites applications for an Assistant Teaching Professor in Accounting. This 100% FTE, 9-month faculty position begins September 16, 2027 and is not tenure‑eligible.

The successful candidate will teach eight courses across Autumn, Winter, and Spring, contribute to curriculum design and AACSB accreditation activities, and engage in service to the school, campus, and profession.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Accounting with the ability to teach a variety of courses.
• Experience or demonstrated potential in curriculum design and accreditation processes.
• Commitment to diversity and inclusive academic community.

Responsibilities

• Teach eight courses over Autumn, Winter, and Spring.
• Engage in accounting curriculum design; contribute to accreditation and assessment.
• Advise the Beta Alpha Psi Chapter and support alumni relations.
• Participate in service to the School of Business, UW Bothell, and university.
