Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Accountant to join the Finance Department in Mooresville, NC, with remote options available. The role supports the transition to a new Sales Accounting Application and requires strong attention to detail and adaptability during the system-wide rollout.

Responsibilities include go-live support, data reconciliations, cross-training, and assisting with sales audit processes using advanced Excel skills. Local presence in NC may be required at times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field.
• 2+ years experience in accounting, tax, finance (public or private) or relevant experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of basic GAAP concepts and financial controls.
• Intermediate skills in MS Office programs (Excel, Word, Access).
• Hands-on experience with reconciliations and accounting processes in large organizations.
• Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions for data analysis and reconciliation.
• Experience with order-to-cash processes; retail background is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to new systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the go-live process of a new Sales Accounting Application scheduled for the end of March.
• Perform manual corrections, reconciliations, and matching activities in the old system to ensure data accuracy.
• Collaborate with team members to cross-train and ramp up efficiently during the transition period.
• Support sales audit processes, including settlements and recons, utilizing strong Excel skills.
• Contribute to the successful migration from old to new systems, ensuring seamless operational continuity.
