Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Cayey, PR is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to oversee daily accounting operations for multiple entities and business units. You will supervise staff, support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, and ensure accuracy and compliance with US GAAP.

The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting knowledge, leadership experience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. CPA/CMA preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• Five years of progressive general accounting experience.
• One to two years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Experience with multiple legal entities or business units preferred.
• Experience in retail, food service, wholesale, distribution, or inventory-based operations preferred.
• Experience with US GAAP, closing, reconciliations, and internal controls.
• CPA or CMA preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Review general ledger entries, journal entries, trial balances, and reconciliations.
• Review balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies timely.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Oversee AP, AR, payroll accounting, and expense-related processes.
• Monitor intercompany transactions and fixed asset accounting.
• Support inventory and cost-of-goods-sold accounting.
• Maintain accounting records across multiple entities and units.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal controls.
• Coordinate internal/external audits and support schedules.
• Lead and develop accounting staff; coach and provide feedback.
