Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation and Reentry (ADCRR) seeks an Accounting Supervisor II for the Arizona Correctional Industries (ACI) in Phoenix. The role leads the Accounting Department, supervises accounts receivable and payable, and oversees the full accounting cycle.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of accounting systems administration experience; supervision of staff; GAAP knowledge.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or 3 years’ experience in accounting systems administration.
• Supervising a team of accounting professionals.
• GAAP compliance and financial statement prep.
• Experience with state government accounting is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Oversee the accounting team to ensure timely, accurate financial statements.
• Manage monthly closings, reconciliations, and GAAP compliance.
• Provide training and guidance to staff, including inmates.
• Develop reports for management and monitor tax returns.
• Ensure effective internal controls and vendor relations.
• Drive process improvements across the accounting cycle.
