Qualifications

• Background clearances required and ACJIS Certification within 3 months of hire.
• Ability to obtain ACJIS Certification and work in a confidentiality‑driven environment.
• Experience with administrative tasks and background verification processes.

Responsibilities

• Conducts background clearances for visitors including inmates, vendors, and contractors.
• Maintains logs both manually and electronically with confidentiality.
• Organizes and files confidential documents and records.
• Processes warrant checks and forwards to outside criminal justice agencies.
• Performs related administrative tasks and completes special projects and reports.
• Attends meetings and required training.
• Sets up and maintains user accounts.
• Drives on state business and performs other duties as assigned.
