Job summary

The Mortgage Law Firm is seeking an Accounting Supervisor in the United States. You will support the CFO and Director of Accounting, overseeing the month-end close, managing a team of staff accountants, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities include journal entries, reconciliations, and ad hoc analyses. A Bachelor’s in accounting/finance and 7+ years of experience (2+ in leadership) are required; CPA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of accounting experience and 2+ years managing a team.
• CPA designation is a plus; experience with Sage Intacct preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the month-end close process, coordinating journal entries, reviews and sign-off within close targets.
• Lead and coach a team of staff accountants and specialists to meet performance goals.
• Respond to staff inquiries on financial procedures and processes.
• Develop monthly general ledger account reconciliations and related controls.
• Prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial reports to management; perform ad hoc analyses.
