Job summary

ADM Deerland in Kennesaw, GA is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to lead the monthly close, manage general ledger and cost accounting, and ensure accuracy across inventories and fixed assets. The role partners with Controlling, Finance, and operations to sustain ADM policies and scalable financial processes.

You will supervise staff, drive process improvements, and support internal and external audits while maintaining strong internal controls and compliance with GAAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting; CPA/CMA preferred but not required.
• Five years’ experience in general ledger, cost accounting, inventories, and month-end close preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and oversee monthly close process including journal entries, accruals, and account analyses.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Lead balance sheet reconciliations and oversee intercompany accounting.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and provide variance analysis.
• Mentor staff accountants and support department initiatives.
• Support audits with documentation and reconciliations.
