Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Accounting from four-year college or university.
• Five to six years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of general ledger structure and financial statement composition.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; able to work with spreadsheets and data.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and perform activities of the Accounting Department, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable.
• Conduct staff meetings or confer with subordinate personnel to discuss operational needs or explain procedural changes.
• Perform analysis on balance sheet and income statement accounts and reconcile as necessary.
• Assist in monitoring capital assets, depreciation calculations, cash management, inventory control, and general ledger activities.
