Job summary

Durango Casino & Resort seeks a seasoned accounting professional to perform gaming audits, maintain the general ledger, and balance revenue daily and monthly. You will provide timely reports to management and the Corporate Director of Gaming Audit, ensuring compliance with all regulations and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related area.
• Minimum of five (2) years or more of Accounting/Financial experience.
• Gaming and financial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform gaming audits to ensure accuracy and report discrepancies per regulations.
• Maintain the General Ledger and balance revenue on a daily/monthly basis.
• Provide timely information and reports to Management and Corporate Director of Gaming Audit.
• Ensure compliance with gaming regulations and internal controls (MICS).
• Review monthly journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for completeness and accuracy.
• Hire and supervise Accounting Controllers and Managers.
