CFS is partnering with a respected commercial real estate organization to hire an experienced Accounting Supervisor in Boston. The role sits in a growing finance team and focuses on supervising property accounting staff, month-end close, and tenant billing accuracy.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of CRE accounting, supervisory experience, and proficiency with Yardi or MRI. This hybrid position offers two days in the office and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience within commercial real estate.
• Retail commercial property accounting experience required.
• Prior review or supervisory experience required.
• Experience with Yardi or MRI software is required.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and property accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and review the work of property accounting staff
• Review monthly financial statements, reconciliations, and reporting packages
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes
• Ensure accuracy of tenant billings, CAM reconciliations, and lease-related accounting
• Analyze financial results and resolve accounting discrepancies
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audit support
• Maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
• Partner with property management and operations teams on financial matters

CFS is partnering with a highly respected commercial real estate organization seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to join its growing finance team in Boston.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with strong commercial real estate and retail property accounting experience who enjoys leading processes, reviewing work, and partnering with operational teams.
