Job summary

Basis is seeking a professional to help build the core product that transforms accounting workflows in NYC. You will collaborate closely with engineering and design teams, engaging with users to translate their needs into effective workflows while developing new agent capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Accounting, a CPA or Master's degree, and extensive audit or tax experience, showcasing strong communication and prioritization skills.

Qualifications

• 4 - 10 years in audit and/or tax at a top public accounting firm.
• Experience auditing financial statements end-to-end.
• Excellent communication skills—able to explain complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with engineering and design teams to build features.
• Listen to users and translate their needs into workflows.
• Partner with the ML team to develop agent capabilities.
