Our client, an early-stage New York technology company, is hiring a Product Lead with deep accounting domain expertise. You will join as one of the first product hires, collaborating with the founding team to understand accounting workflows and translate insights into product features.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of accounting, tax, audit or consulting experience at Senior Associate/Manager/AVP level.
• Strong knowledge of accounting workflows including month-end close, bookkeeping, tax or audit.
• Ability to translate business requirements into product solutions and work with customers and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct customer discovery with accounting teams to identify challenges and opportunities.
• Use the platform in day-to-day accounting work to inform the product roadmap.
• Translate customer needs into clear product requirements for engineering and AI teams.
• Support evaluation and improvement of AI performance on accounting tasks.
• Design and deliver product features using AI-assisted development tools.
• Uphold high standards for user experience and product design.
