Job summary

SECO Energy is seeking a dedicated accounting professional to share responsibility for accounts payable and receivable, supporting daily activities, month-end close, and year-end audit processes at the cooperative.

The role covers general ledger transactions and reports, balancing, reconciliations, depreciation, tax reports, cash receipts and disbursements, and fixed assets management, with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Three (3) years of experience with accounts payable/accounts receivable and/or general ledger accounting.
• Preferred: Experience within an electric utility or related industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable to support daily accounting activities.
• Support month-end close processes and year-end audit activities.
• Handle general ledger transactions and prepare reports, balancing and reconciliations.
