Job summary

Pelton Shepherd Industries is seeking an Accounting Specialist to support day-to-day accounting tasks in a manufacturing environment. You will handle accounts payable and receivable, vendor communications, reconciliations, and documentation with accuracy and discretion.

The role requires detail orientation, proficient Excel and accounting software, and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a collaborative, fast-paced team. Monday–Friday, standard business hours, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Post and reconcile vendor invoices and payments.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and investigate discrepancies.
• Reconcile vendor statements and respond to inquiries.
• Post and reconcile customer payments and assist with collections.
• Support year-end 1099 reporting and tax documentation.
