The purpose of this job is to perform specialized accounting and administrative work related to the financial management, monitoring, reporting, and compliance of federal, state, and local grants administered by Dorchester County. The position supports grant accounting activities by maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and processing transactions.
This position works under direct supervision of the Grants and Special Projects Coordinator.

This is a full-time position; typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but employees must be available during the core work hours of 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and must work 40 hour each week to maintain full-time status. Employees must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays during emergencies or as requested.
