Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and one year of relevant experience or an equivalent combination.
• Knowledge of banking procedures for receiving, depositing, and disbursing cash.
• Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, and procedures.
• Strong written and oral communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the Deposit Control area in Banking and Merchant Services.
• Ensure deposits are timely and accurately recorded in the myUFL system.
• Perform monthly reviews of deposit activity and liaise with General Accounting.
• Research incoming electronic payments to identify departmental beneficiaries.
• Assist entities in setting up electronic payments to the university.
• Advise departments on policies and procedures related to cash handling.
