Job summary

GBrakes (Giocar America, Inc.) is seeking an Accounting Specialist in Carson City, NV to support the finance team with clerical and basic accounting tasks. Strong data entry, numerical skills, and QuickBooks proficiency are essential for handling AP/AR, invoices, and month-end activity.

The role offers a 3-day weekend feel with a Tuesday–Friday schedule, working 10-hour shifts. A strong team environment and opportunities to contribute across departments are highlighted in this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Excellent communication skills – writing, speaking, and active listening.
• Top-notch organizational and time management abilities.
• High typing speed with strong accuracy.
• Customer-service oriented with a warm, positive, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Prepare and enter invoices and expense reports.
• Reconcile bank statements and financial records.
• Assist with month-end close process.
• Maintain organized and accurate financial files and documentation.
• Perform high-volume, accurate data entry in support of accounting, sales, and operations.
• Create, edit, and maintain documents and spreadsheets in MS Word and Excel.
• Enter and manage information in QuickBooks (prior experience is a must).
• Provide friendly, professional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Support various departments with administrative tasks – whatever needs to get done in the moment.
• Organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Assist with communication – writing emails, taking calls, and actively listening to gather needed information.
• Maintain accurate files, records, and documentation.
