Revolent Group is seeking an Accounting Specialist to manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, and reconciliations across multiple entities. You will support client payments, vendor relations, and project billing in a hands-on, detail-driven role.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in accounting, strong QuickBooks skills, and comfort working with ConnectWise/CPQ and other billing systems. The role offers exposure to IT services environments and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in accounting, billing, AP/AR, or a related bookkeeping role.
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks (Desktop preferred); experience with ConnectWise/CPQ or similar platforms is a plus.
• Comfort managing multiple entities, bank accounts, and recurring billing cycles with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Enter and apply cash receipts in QuickBooks; manage deposits and payment portals.
• Code vendor bills, process payables, and reconcile card activity across entities.
• Convert quotes into sales orders and manage monthly/bi-monthly billing cycles.
• Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations for all entities.
• Respond to client billing questions and support collections follow-up.
• Maintain ConnectWise workflows and assist onboarding and light admin tasks.

Job description

The Accounting Specialist is the engine behind our day-to-day financial operations — owning accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, reconciliations, and client-facing payment support across our partner's multiple business entities (NJ, IL, and Nav-X). This is a hands-on, detail-driven role for someone who thrives on process, precision, and juggling multiple systems (QuickBooks, ConnectWise/CPQ, Work 365, and E-Biz Gateway) without dropping a stitch. You'll work closely with the Controller and interact regularly with clients, vendors, and internal teams, making this a great fit for someone who enjoys variety and wants their work to visibly keep the business moving.

What You'll Do

• Accounts Receivable & Cash Application: Enter and apply cash receipts in QuickBooks (ACH/wire/check/credit card); process deposits; manage the E-Biz payment portal and Connect Booster; keep invoice balances accurate and up to date.
• Accounts Payable: Enter and code vendor bills in QuickBooks; process and file payables; prepare and send remittances; reconcile credit card and prepaid/accrued expense activity.
• Billing & Contract Administration: Convert quotes into sales orders, projects, and agreements in ConnectWise/CPQ; run monthly agreement billing and twice-monthly time & materials billing; prepare maintenance renewal quotes (SAP, Microsoft, and ISV) and manage license adds/removals.
• Reconciliations: Complete monthly bank and credit card reconciliations across all entities and accounts.
• Client & Vendor Support: Respond to client billing questions, proactively flag under/overpayments, send portal access and invoice copies, and support collections follow-up.
• Systems & Process: Maintain ConnectWise workflows and low-balance notifications; create new client records; support onboarding and other light administrative/office coordination tasks as needed.

What You Bring

• 2+ years of experience in accounting, billing, AP/AR, or a related bookkeeping role.
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks (Desktop preferred); experience with ConnectWise, CPQ, or similar billing/PSA platforms is a strong plus.
• Comfort managing multiple entities, bank accounts, and recurring billing cycles with a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong Excel skills and general tech comfort — you pick up new systems quickly.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication for client- and vendor-facing conversations.
• A self-starter who's organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable owning a process end to end.
• Experience in an IT, ERP, MSP, or professional services environment is a plus, but not required.
