Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking an Accounting Specialist in Thornton, CO with a hybrid schedule. This early-career role offers exposure to accounts payable, accounts receivable, procurement, billing, expense management, and general accounting.

You will work across Accounting, Supply Chain, Operations, Shipping, and Sales teams, gaining broad business visibility and developing month-end close, reconciliation, and audit support skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, procurement, or related function.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
• Experience with accounting systems, expense management platforms, or ERP software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable processing, invoice approvals, vendor payments, and three-way matching.
• Support purchasing activities, vendor onboarding, and procurement administration.
• Administer employee expense reporting, reimbursements, and corporate card reconciliations.
• Process customer billing, maintain accounts receivable records, and assist with collections activities.
• Assist with month-end close, account reconciliations, journal entries, and audit support.
• Prepare operational and financial reports while supporting internal controls and process improvements.
