Job summary

LeadStack Inc. is seeking an Analyst, Accounting Automation on a 6–18 month contract in a hybrid role based in Phoenix, AZ.

You will join the Payroll Automation Team within Finance and lead gathering requirements, testing, implementation and documentation of payroll processes and related interfaces affecting payroll and the general ledger. The role requires 3–5 years in payroll/finance/accounting, strong SAP Payroll experience, and proven ability to analyze, document, and test business systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Experience with SAP Payroll is required.
• 3–5 years Payroll, Finance or Accounting experience.
• Experience with in-depth business systems analysis, functional design and process modeling.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Attention to detail.
• Experience with regression testing and implementation.

• Gathers and documents business requirements related to payroll and business activities
• Analyzes information to create documentation, including BRs, process flows, test plans and scripts
• Assists with testing payroll system and downstream systems
• Represents the department in meetings with internal and external customers

Job Title: Analyst, Accounting Automation

Location: Hybrid at Phoenix, AZ 85281 (60% onsite)

Contract Duration : 6-18 month contract position

Will be heavily using SAP (HEC) application.

Top 3 to 5 skillsets / years of experience

• 3-5 years Payroll, Finance, or Accounting Experience
• Experience with in- depth business systems analysis, functional design, documentation, and process modeling
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks
• Experience with SAP Surrounding team/key projects
• Flight related initiatives
• SAP payroll experience is a hard requirement.
• Attention to detail is a must.
• Good background in regression testing, implementation

Description:

• This job is a member of the Payroll Automation Team within the Finance Division.
• Responsible for gathering business requirements, testing, implementation and documentation of payroll and business processes and related interfaces impacting the payroll systems and the general ledger.

What you'll do

• Assists in identifying and documenting internal controls in support of auditing team

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related business field and/or equivalent experience/training, including payroll and payroll processes
• Experience with SAP Payroll is required

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• At least 3- 5 years Payroll, Finance or Accounting experience
• Experience with in depth business systems analysis, functional design, documentation, and process modeling
• Strong analytical and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
