Job summary

H+H Central Support in Omaha, NE is seeking an Accounting Specialist for the Central Support Accounting Team. The role focuses on recording financial transactions, generating reports, and ensuring accuracy in the company’s financial records.

Pay ranges from $22 to $25 per hour and depends on experience. The position requires an Associate Degree or higher in Accounting or Business, strong Excel skills, and the ability to communicate with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or higher in Accounting or Business with emphasis in Accounting.
• Strong work ethic with integrity, time management, accountability, efficiency, teamwork, and thoroughness.
• The ability to analyze and perform complex calculations.
• Strong Customer Experience and people skills.
• Be knowledgeable of basic accounting and reconciling processes.
• Be detailed oriented, organized, and self-motivated.
• The ability to effectively communicate with internal and external Customers, in person, over the phone, and via fax or email.
• The ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
• The ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain a business record of financial transactions carried out by the company.
• Prepare relevant accounting reports of financial activities of the company as assigned.
• Ensure all transactions are properly recorded as per established guidelines.
• Follow all procedures relating to internal accounting in order to maintain the company’s financial security.
• Review, research, reconcile, and assure the accuracy of schedules, ledgers, and accounts.
