Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is partnering with a well-established organization to recruit an Accounting Specialist in Hillsboro, OR. This role blends accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and month-end accounting support within a collaborative accounting team.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of accounting experience, an associate degree or equivalent, and strong Excel/accounting software skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience including AP, AR, reconciliations, or general ledger support.
• Associate degree in accounting/finance or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and accounting software with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
• Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations; maintain financial records.
• Assist with month-end close activities, journal entries, and general ledger accounting.
• Support financial reporting and accounting analysis as needed.
• Monitor outstanding invoices, payments, and vendor accounts.
• Assist with audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support ongoing accounting initiatives.
